Hear the word of the LORD to you, king of Judah, you who sit on David’s throne—you, your officials and your people who come through these gates.

(2) That sittest upon the throne of David.--The words obviously imply that the message was delivered to the king as he sat in the gate in the presence of his people.

Verse 2. - And thy people. The Septuagint reads, "And thy house and thy people;" thus the passage will agree with Jeremiah 21:11, 12.
